Oscillating demand

Demand for resources drives the proliferon. Here demand oscillates and drives CA-2. Regardless the direction of the demand, CA-2 always traverses the same trajectory through the solutions space, which is more obvious when the duration of constant demand is longer.

In the last experiment CA-3 delivers resources to CA-2. The effect is more pronounced when CA-2 is small.
